Aquascaping Bonsai Driftwood 021
Aquascaping Bonsai Driftwood 021 is a hand-crafted natural wood piece designed for planted aquariums, terrariums, and freshwater aquascape layouts. Its tree-like structure creates an instant focal point and works especially well for nature-style, forest-style, and shrimp tank layouts.
The branching shape can be decorated with aquatic mosses, Anubias, Java fern, Bucephalandra, or other rhizome plants to create a mature bonsai-style underwater landscape. In addition to its decorative appearance, natural driftwood can help soften the look of the aquarium, provide shelter for small fish, shrimp, and snails, and add a more natural feel to the tank environment.
Most natural driftwood may float when first placed in water. Before use, we recommend soaking the piece thoroughly until it becomes fully waterlogged. If needed, you can also attach a temporary weight to help keep it in position while the aquarium is being filled.
Natural driftwood may release tannins, which can temporarily tint aquarium water with a tea-colored appearance. This is normal and will gradually reduce through regular water changes. Tannins are naturally released from wood and are commonly seen in freshwater aquariums.
